phatApps respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how phatCollection and the phatApps website handle information.
Information stored and synchronised by the app
phatCollection does not require you to create an account with phatApps. Information created and managed in the app is synchronised through Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services rather than stored in a separate phatApps customer database.
All library information stored by phatCollection is synchronised through iCloud. This includes the information you create and manage within the app, such as your collection and viewing information.
Certain personalised settings are not stored in the database, this data remains local to the individual device and are not synchronised through iCloud.
The information synchronised through iCloud is handled through Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services and is associated with your Apple account.
Movie and TV information
Movie, TV show, cast and crew information, including trending, popular, upcoming and top-rated lists, is retrieved from The Movie Database (TMDB). Use of this information is subject to TMDB's terms of use and attribution requirements.
Streaming provider information and links are provided using data from JustWatch.
Website contact form
If you use the contact form on the phatApps website, you may provide your name, email address and message. We use this information only to respond to your feedback or support request and to manage the correspondence associated with that request.
Contact submissions are sent to the appropriate phatApps email address based on whether you select Feedback or Support. We do not use information submitted through the contact form for advertising or sell it to third parties.
Retention
Contact messages may be retained in our email system for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain a record of support correspondence, or address related issues. You can contact us if you would like to ask about information contained in a support or feedback request.
Third-party services
phatCollection and the phatApps website may use third-party services to provide app functionality, catalogue information, cloud synchronisation, website hosting or contact-form delivery. Those providers may process information as necessary to provide their services and according to their own privacy policies.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information handled through the website and support process. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
